TOPICrants & raves
be perfect... or notThe rants & raves page is a celebration of that which is good and the exposure of that which is not. It could be a thing, like a bicycle... or a philosophy, like environmentalism... or even something like a season, say... spring perhaps. Anything but people and politics. Even an emotion like fear or anxiety. I'm hoping for submissions to this department. In fact I'm hoping to get rants and raves about the same things. For instance I might rave about bicycles, while someone less-informed might have the ill-mannered audacity to rant against them (I dare ya!). Rants & raves, yin & yang, its a natural push & pull. Ever use something, or see something or think of something that was just right. I don't mean almost, or nearly so, but really just plain old right, exactly as it is. Perfectly designed, perfectly implemented... the perfect marriage of form and function? Now of course nothing can be absolutely perfect because pretty much everything takes some raw materials to create and produces some waste in the process so you have to give a little slack for things like that, but that's all. If you can think of something like that... rave on! And of course the opposite is true. If you've used or seen or thought of something that absolutely was NOT right. Something so ill-conceived or poorly executed that its very existence or the even the notion of its existence is an insult to humanity then... rant on! Any subject is fair game.
