my birthday suitMarch 14, 2001 I went skinny-dipping last year on my birthday at Loch Leven in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Di and Tomo and I hiked up to the loch and since we'd gone up pretty early, we had nearly the whole place to ourselves. It's about a three and a half mile hike, all uphill... very swim-inducing. What a day... warm, sunny, great hiking, crystal clear air and water. Everyone should skinny-dip on their birthday. It's a good way to celebrate your birthday suit. There was a couple nearby swimming and a few hikers now and again but no one was paying any attention it was just too beautiful a day. Di put her feet in but she's not into water that cold. Tomo jumped in with me and we swam all around. He's a good dog but German Shepherds are not very graceful in the water. The puppy dog had an excellent time and he was exhausted by day's end.
