the busy season

The crop reports are taking shape. These pages will record the progress of individual crops and we're working on the code now. But this is the busy season outside so dirt work takes priority.

Until the individual crop reports are done you can still read about the latest goings-on in the garden journal.

That is not going to happen next year... | dave

garden | 08/17/01 | winding down early – The garden is winding down early this year. The plants have that tired look and many of them are bolting early. Tomato harvest is already tapering off compared to last year when it ran deep into September. | dave

RECENT STORIES

garden | 07/24/01 | strange days – The average high temperature last week was 84. This is Carmichael for goodness sake! It's supposed to be 100 degrees... | dave

garden | 06/08/01 | keeping busy – It's been a very busy two weeks. Most notably we lost a large portion of the softneck garlic crop. It seems... | dave
