DEPARTMENTATTIC

prayerwheel

be a pack rat

The purpose of the attic is to hold all the stuff that I don't know where else to put. I've always been a pack rat (Diana would definitely agree!). I think I get it from my Dad and my Grampa on my Mom's side. It's just hard for me to throw stuff away. You just never know when you might need a... you know... one of those... and I had one here, I just don't know where it is right now.

In a metaphorical sense the 'attic' is the same thing. It's where I'll put all the miscellaneous stuff. I'm not sure how I'll index it just yet. Probably the same way I keep track of stuff in my attic at home. I'll dig through it every six months or so and say, "Hey check this out! I was wondering where this was."

garden | 08/26/01 | year of the compost pile – We took out the remaining corn stalks and most of the tomatoes and okra. Fall is coming and we're getting ready. 2002 will be the year of the compost pile. Sounds weird I know, but last year we didn't have enough and we ran out. That is not going to happen next year... | dave
