solitary on the ground
wet 'n fresh 'n colorful
many-veined past
fallen from grace
or gracefully falling?
pick me up
save me close
leaf!
cozy fall
ginger cookies
glowing embers, amber light
leaf!
tread upon you
stuck on boots
astonishing color midst green needles
leaf!
bird against you
silhouette
your beauty...
put it in my soul
make me orange! and red! and yellow!
let my amber light glow
leaf!
